Accomplishments of The Sean Weisse Foundation:
Since the September 2013 Picnic The Sean Weisse Foundation has donated the following to the Kings Park Central School District:
3 Smart Document Cameras to Park View Elementary School inclusion classes.
5 iPod touches to Fort Salonga Elementary School reading classes.
Reading aides such as poster sets, word cards and magnetic journals to RJO Intermediate Schools inclusion and reading classes.
Sensory teaching aides worth $2100 to Fort Salonga self contained classes such as 2 listening centers, a relaxation center, squoosh car and numerous sensory games and toys.
Since the 2014 Picnic The Sean Weisse Foundation has Donated $ 1,100.00 of Multisensory teaching aids to RJO Intermediate, Fort Salonga Elementary and WTR Middle School Multisensory Classrooms.
Alternative Learning Furniture for RJO Intermediate School Special Education Classroom valued at $ 3,600.00
Since the 2015 Picnic The Sean Weisse Foundation has donated $3000.00 worth of multi-sensory learning equipment and materials to Fort Salonga Elementary, Park View Elementary, RJO Intermediate School and William T. Rodgers Middle School.
All donations will be gratefully accepted and are tax deductible. All proceeds will be used for getting the right equipment for children with learning disabilities, training for our teachers in multi-sensory learning, Child Advocates to assist families during IEP (individual education program) meetings with schools, awareness and fund raising.
